My name is Iain EWOK Robinson (Ewok is my nickname), and I am writing from Durban, South Africa.  I am a musician, a rapper and a poet.

I am writing to tell you that you have inspired many hearts and minds with your action.  We are pulling together, person by person, South Africans of all races, ages, genders and cultures, to stand with the Palestinian people against the beast of Apartheid and its murderous policies of persecution.

South Africa defeated Apartheid, and we will stand with you all as together we defeat it once again.

It is your action, your strength of spirit and your immovable resolve, that inspires our solidarity.  We can't be there with you, we can't know your suffering or your pain, but we will constantly seek for ways of supporting you through all of this heartbreak and struggle.

You are the fuel that keeps the fires burning and brings us all, from the cold and the darkness of oppression, into the light and the warmth of humanity.

I salute you brother, your struggle will not be in vain, you have my word.
