I have no words that I feel will be adequate in truly expressing how I feel about your and your country's struggle.
One day, there will be an end to the crimes committed by Israel, a day when they will have to answer for their actions. You will be a part of
making that happen. No struggle for freedom is ever easy, nor is it ever futile. Stay strong.

Dear Khader Adnan & family,

I am humbled by your dedication to justice and dignity; I am saddened by your pain. May your brave and principled non-violent act be the beginning of an unstoppable movement.

Dear Khader Adnan,

From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your sacrifice. You are a hero of such integrity, to suffer all you have suffered so that others in the future will not have to endure such cruelty and injustice ever again. As long as humankind remains silent and does not wake up to the unspeakable crimes imposed upon Palestinians every minute, every day, every week, every month, every year and every decade, and put an end to this madness, none of us is free.

Every breath you take, every thought, your spirit reaches millions of souls praying for your safety and freedom, I can feel you now all the way across the world and am humbled by your bravery and courage.

In solidarity,

Khader, you are inspiration to us all and we are all watching with admiration of your courageous and painful struggle which you undertook for your homeland.  Dear brother Khader though I have never been to Palestine, I have gone close to your borders and looked at it, it is worth it--every inch of it is worth it.  What you are doing is worth it.  Brother, I only lament that none of your self professed leaders are showing the determination and courage that you are showing are right now.  You have left a mark on the hearts of every Arab around the world that is lucky enough to know your name.

Until freedom brother, I look forward to meeting you in Paradise

Just a short note to say that you are not alone in your struggle against the Zionist oppressor state and the indignity and injustice it metes out.

Khader, your dignity, courage and spirit are more powerful than all that Israel's arsenal of hatred can muster. Your gentle, weakend frame masks a strenght that will break chains, knock walls and break injustice. These few words of mine are nothing but my thoughts are fixed on you. Your comrades ghosts stand behind you.

Big Tomás Ashe walks down a prison corridor,

The gates of death close behind,

Seán McGaughey from the county of Tyrone,

Food and water denied, life goes, eternal name

Bellaghy offered Francie Hughes, a giant of a man,

His final fight was hunger, he won, he died, he lives.

McSwiney, Lynch and McIlwee

Murphy, Stagg and Sands,

All have walked that lonesome road,

The doors of death closed in

Forever on my mind, forged indelibly,

Sacrifice everlasting, perpetual legacy,

Their life was not for living, but to give for you and me,

All forced to death, by the cruel hand of tyranny.

An iron shackle, ties Khader to a lonesome prison bed,

His wife, and fearsome family, filled with hope and dread.

Will he join the martyrs, or his family?

Both will gently take his hand and grant eternity.

Voices of the living fade,

You are nearer death than life,

Your body wastes, with every day,

A door opens to the afterlife,

You are weak and you are strong,

You are gentle wind and mountain side,

A broken body, impenetrable soul,

Weakened heart, relentless tide.

Israel holds your lovely life, in their cruel hands,

To them, your life it is nothing, like every Arab mans,

For you death is permitted, but certainly is not willed,

I fear those awful tyrants, won’t stop until you’re killed.

Another walks now towards that death,

His shadow hard to see,

But in his battle cry there is,

A call for you and me.

Wherever man is denied, his basic liberty,

Wherever he is restrained,

He will not fall unto his knee,

Nor yield to hunger pains.

Whatever the outcome of your stand for dignity, you have lit a candle in the darkness that will burn perpetually.  It will burn in the eyes, hearts and minds of people around the world and cast a dark shadow forever on those that choose to oppress and imprison and brutalize.

I pray, every day, for you and for all of Palestine.  And for those suffering everywhere.  And for the world to regain its sanity.

Israel is, once again, showing his  barbarous power. But once again it doesn’t comprehend the mighty will power of the Palestinian people of which Khader Adnan is a vivid example.  He is an hero and his sacrifice is a sacrifice for all mankind.

Freedom is not tangible, it cannot be bent or moulded. It cannot and will not be changed. Though many will try, they will always fail in the end. They can never touch it or deprive you of it, as long as it remains in your heart and mind.

To paraphrase a great man: "If they aren't able to destroy the desire for freedom, they won't break you. They won't break me because the desire for freedom, and the freedom of the people, is in my heart. The day will dawn when all the people will have the desire for freedom to show." - Bobby Sands
